Beatles 'Big Beat' Guitar
Plastic Guitar produced in England by Selcol circa 1963/64. Complete with the Beatles group picture label on the body front (small scuff and creases on the right side) and the small black Selcol company label inside. The small label that was at the end of the arm is missing. Complete with all original metal pegs and four plastic coloured strings.
There is the usual scuffing and scratching throughout caused by use, but is particularly apparent on the back of the main body. There is also a short (approx 1½") almost negligible surface stress fracture at the center of the main body on the front to the left of the large paper label. This is a common problem with these guitars, caused by the inside wooden peg center support pushing against the underside of the plastic body. This has also resulted in several minor stress lines on the back of the main body.
Measures approx 20¾"long x 6½"wide x 2¼"thick (528mm x 165mm x 58mm).
Overall in EX+ Condition.
